The Locals Care Privacy Policy
Independent Business Network Services LLC (IBNS), Locals Care, and their related companies believe that your personal information—including your purchase history, phone number(s), email and residential addresses, and credit card data—belongs to you. This type of information is collected to serve you better when you provide it to us, but we do not rent or sell your information to third parties.
This privacy policy applies when you make a purchase at any Locals Care participating merchant, or when you visit the www.locals-care.com, website.
When You Join Locals Care
When you join Locals Care, we request your name, phone number, and email address,
plus other information. This personal information is kept for the purpose of
meeting customer service needs, sending members membership information, and for
sending promotional information.
Many of the ways in which you interact with our site allow us to learn more about our membership base. We collect and store statistics and other information about the online activities of our visitors on an aggregated (collective) basis. For example, we track the number of people who view each page to learn which features are the most popular. But in these and almost all other instances, we DO NOT obtain personally identifiable information about you.
When you join Locals Care, you are assigned a unique number, which is used to track your purchases so that we may make awards resulting from those purchases. Locals Care will use transaction-level purchase data for merchandising analysis and marketing purposes, and to better facilitate your communications from Locals Care. We also collect information to track merchants and the rebates they offer, to identify the contributions Members generate as a result of shopping at participating merchants, and to deliver the contributions to the nonprofit organizations.
You may make changes to your membership information by updating your profile on www.locals-care.com.
Locals Care Members may choose to opt out of the program at any time; however, this will result in the forfeiture of accrued rewards (points and credits). You can opt out of the Locals Care program at any time by visiting www.locals-care.com
What Information Locals Care Collects and Why
Locals Care primary goal in collecting personal information—including your
purchase history, phone number(s), email and residential address, and credit
card data—is to provide you with an efficient, customized experience. When
we collect your personal information, you are sharing it with Locals Care, IBNS,
and our affiliate and subsidiary entities and contracted third parties.
Disclosure to Outside Parties
Locals Care works with reputable third parties to assist us in delivering services
to you. In these instances, we will provide your personal information to third
parties so that they can perform these services. In addition, from time to time
we may disclose your personal information to third parties based on a legal obligation;
we will only accommodate these requests when it is determined to be legally necessary
in the reasonable opinion of our counsel. We are committed to keeping private
_information private. Under no circumstances do we sell or provide personal information
to third parties to be used to sell you products or services.
When You Contact Customer Service
When you contact our Customer Service department, we use your phone number, mailing
and email addresses, and comments generated on previous calls to help us assist
you. We may also pass your feedback along to other departments within our company
in order to improve our services.
When You Subscribe to Locals Care Email
You can choose to receive email from us by signing up in store or online. When
you sign up for Locals Care email, we will send you important account information,
updates on services offered, special offers and notification of upcoming special
events.
When You Purchase Gift Cards Online
Locals Care works with a contracted third party to sell gift cards online. When
you purchase gift cards online, we use your information to process your transaction
and communicate with you about the status of your order.

Care members. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content
of such other web sites; however, Locals Care will not disclose your personal
information to third party sites.
Limits on Our Abilities

and other personally identifiable information will not be disclosed to third
parties, such as the government, or third parties that unlawfully intercept or

event we need to investigate or resolve possible problems or inquiries, we may
disclose any information about you to private entities, law enforcement or other
government officials as we, in our sole discretion and/or at the advice of our
